Primary (Class I-V)
प्राथमिक शिक्षा, आम तौर पर, औपचारिक शिक्षा का पहला चरण है। इसमें पाँच वर्ग/कक्षाएं शामिल हैं:

- कक्षा ५
महावीर विद्यालय नरौजा प्राथमिक स्तर पर उत्तर प्रदेश बोर्ड ऑफ बेसिक एजुकेशन का अनुसरण करता है, इसलिए, इस विद्यालय में प्राथमिक शिक्षा का पाठ्यक्रम राज्य शैक्षिक अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद उत्तर प्रदेश और बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग, उत्तर प्रदेश से लिया जाता है।
प्राथमिक स्तर पर जो विषय पढ़ाए जाते हैं, वे हैं:

चूंकि, बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग, उत्तर प्रदेश ने 2022 तक प्राप्त करने के लिए कुछ लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया है। इस लक्ष्य को मिशन प्रेरणा के रूप में नामित किया गया है। प्राथमिक स्तर पर पाठ्यक्रम इस तरह से सेट किया गया है कि यह मिशन प्रेरणा लक्ष्य के अनुरूप है:
Primary Schooling is, typically, the first stage of formal education. It consists of five class/standards:
- Class I
- Class II
- Class III
- Class IV
- Class V
Mahavir Vidyalaya Narauja follows Uttar Pradesh Board of Basic Education at primary level, therefore, the curriculum of primary section at this Vidyalaya is set by taking references from State Council of Educational Research & Training Uttar Pradesh and Department of Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh.
The subjects that are taught at primary level are:
- Language (Hindi),
- English,
- Science and Environment,
- Mathematics,
- Art (Drawing & Painting),
- Sanskrit,
- Moral Education,
- Computer
- Physical Education
Since, Department of Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh has set certain target to be achieved till 2022. This target has been named as Mission Prerna. The curriculum at primary level is set in such a way that it is consistent with Mission Prerna Target:
हर बच्चे के पाठ्यबोध, लिखित और मौखिक प्रस्तुतीकरण क्षमताओं में उसकी प्रगति की जाँच के लिए सतत निगरानी और मूल्यांकन किया जाता है। चूंकि प्रत्येक बच्चे का कौशल और क्षमता अलग होती है, इसलिए प्रदर्शन में सुधार को सापेक्ष पैमानों में मापा जाता है और एक कक्षा में वांछित न्यूनतम प्रदर्शन (जैसा कि पाठ्यक्रम द्वारा तय किया गया) न करने वाले लोगों को उचित देखभाल और अतिरिक्त सहायता प्रदान की जाती है।
Continuous monitoring and assessment of every child is done to check his/her progress in Reading Comprehension, Written and Oral Expression skills/abilities. Since every child is gifted with different set of skills/abilities, the improvement in the performance is measured in relative terms and due care and extra support is provided to those who lack in desired minimum performance (as decided by the curriculum) in a class.
